----The next meeting of the RNA will be Tuesday November 14, 2017 at the Wyman Park Center/GreenMount School at 7 PM.--------

Wyman Park Drive and Remington Avenue

The 30 spaces of parking that used to be used by the residents of Wyman Park Drive are now gone.  The re-built section of Wyman Park Drive will be a two lane street with no parking on either side.

These 30 spaces were used by the nearby residents on Wyman Park Drive who have no parking at all in front of their houses.

Some of the lost spaces will be restored by making the public spaces along JHU Campus RPP spaces. (Normally RPP spaces have to be in front of residential houses.)

The letter from Matt Garfield at the Parking authority and other documents are below.

Hello All,

I am happy to report that we are ready to move forward with a phased in conversion of curb space along the east side of the 3100 block of Remington Avenue to RPP Area 7. I will complete measurements and put in a work order to have the signage added by the end of this week. It may take up to 10 weeks before the signs are in place.

Attached you will find letters of support from the Wyman Park South Neighborhood Association, Remington Neighborhood Alliance, Greater Remington Improvement Association, and Johns Hopkins University. As agreed upon, these changes will be phased in, with the first phase located between the northern most curb cut for the driveway entrance into the JHU building and continuing north until the MTA #27 bus stop (see images below). The remainder of the east side of the 3100 block of Remington Avenue will be unrestricted, to be converted to RPP Area 7 at an undetermined time in the future.

If you have any questions please do not hesitate to reach out to myself or Steve Robinson.

Thanks,
