----The next meeting of the RNA will be Tuesday November 14, 2017 at the Wyman Park Center/GreenMount School at 7 PM.--------

7-11 at 211 W. 28th Street: post letters of support or opposition before March 3, 2017.

The initial decision of the Finance Department has been appealed by the 7-11. There is an additional opportunity to give support or opposition on this issue.

The legal background of this issue is here.

The original set of opposition and support letters and signature sheets together with responses from the 7-11 and details from the CVCA are here.

(The correctness of the following has been confirmed by Ms. Moisides, of the Finance Department)

1) Both the 12th and 14th District portions of Remington are within the "impact area" according to the Code, because the 14th District boundary is immediately across the street from 211 W 28th Street.

2) Letters to the agency should limit their content to issues relating to the hours of 12 midnight and 5 am.

3) Letters must be received by the agency no later than Friday, March 3rd.

4) Letters may be submitted and addressed as follows:

Director of Finance
Attn: Yoanna Moisides
100 N. Holliday Street, Room 456
Baltimore, MD 21202
yoanna.moisides@baltimorecity.gov
Fax: 410-396-4236

The Late Night Operating permit is all that is at issue. Any requests for conditions to be imposed on the 7-11 outside of the hours 12 midnight to 5 am are inappropriate.

Comments are welcome. Note the RNA comments policy.
